Dog photography sessions
A session is a walk with you and your dog, somewhere I know works well for photos. It takes as long as it takes, usually around two hours, with plenty of time for a chat.

How it works
01
A chat to plan
First, a chat about your dog, so I can suggest the right place for them.
02
Booking your date
You agree to my booking terms and pay the full session fee to reserve your date. You can pay by card. Klarna available.
03
The fun bit
Your dog enjoys a good walk while I get the photos, at whatever pace suits them.
04
Your reveal video
About two weeks later, in person where possible, otherwise by video call. I’ve cried at every one so far.
05
Photos & wall art
After your reveal, your digital photos arrive by an online gallery link. Wall art can be ordered on top.

“I pressed play on this beautiful video compilation of Bruno and Pepper, and within moments I was completely lost in that wonderful warm, fuzzy feeling. Before I knew it, I had tears rolling down my cheeks. Somehow, Mark has managed to capture everything that makes our two pups so special.”

Your questions
-
There’s no time limit, so nobody is watching the clock. Most sessions last around two hours.
-
Light rain is fine, and grey days often give lovely soft light. In heavy rain, or if it isn’t safe, I move the date at no extra cost.
-
I’ll suggest a place that suits your dog, from spots I know well across the South West. I don’t photograph in gardens.
-
About two weeks after your session, at your reveal. Your digital photos then arrive by an online gallery link.
-
Bring water, treats, a favourite toy and a harness. A plain collar in a natural colour works best, as bright ones can clash in photos.
-
That’s fine. They can stay on a lead, which I remove in editing, or I can book a secure dog field at exactly what the field charges me.
-
Yes, you’re always welcome to join in for a few photos with your dog.
